If you have not made your way out to Sunny Dreams Farm yet, consider this your sign. Tucked into a quiet corner of Bel Air, this family-owned farm has quickly become one of my favorite local spots, and after sitting down with the farm’s owners recently, I have even more reasons to love it.

Sunny Dreams is a genuine neighborhood farm, right here in Bel Air, run by a family who clearly loves what they do and loves this community just as much. This is farming in every sense, family owned, kid friendly, and deeply rooted in Harford County agriculture.

From barnyard birthday parties to upcoming cow cuddling, guided tours, farm stand, and seasonal offerings, there is truly something here for every family.

My daughter and I look forward to every visit, and I have a feeling once you experience Sunny Dreams Farm for yourself, it will become one of your family's favorite local spots as well.

The Farm Stand: Open Every Day of the Week

If you only make it to one part of Sunny Dreams Farm, make it the farm stand. It is open seven days a week, so there is really no wrong time to stop by, whether you are planning ahead for dinner or just found yourself craving something fresh on a random afternoon.

Everything you'll find is locally sourced, which keeps the experience truly community based.

Walk through and you will discover locally sourced meats, cheese, ice cream, and produce, plus so much more worth browsing. You will go in for one thing and leave with a full bag, because everything looks too good to pass up. Their farm stand makes it easy to support local without any extra effort.

Say Hello to the Goats

No visit to their farm stand is complete without stopping by to see the goats. Visitors are always welcome to come say hi, and honestly, the goats love the attention just as much as we do. They are friendly, curious, and always ready to greet whoever walks up.

If you want to make their day a little better, pop into the farm stand first and grab a free container of veggies to feed them. It is a small thing, but it is one of the highlights of any visit, especially for kids.

Birthday Parties & Events

If you’re looking for a farm party in Harford County, Sunny Dreams has you covered. Their barnyard birthday parties are an incredible local option, and they are absolutely perfect for animal-loving kiddos.

Here is what you can expect. Parties are held in their private pavilion and are currently offered on Saturdays and Sundays, with two time slots available each day. Families are welcome to bring their own food, so you can tailor the menu exactly to what your guests will enjoy. The party time includes private interaction with the farm's goats, sheep, and chickens, along with classic yard games, giving kids a chance to run around and get some giggles out between animal visits.

Each event is thoughtfully curated to provide more one-on-one time with the animals and a more relaxed experience for parents as well. Sunny Dreams Farm also offers a version of this experience geared toward team building, so this is not just for kids. If your office or organization is looking for something different for a team outing, a barnyard team building session might be the perfect fit.

Cow Cuddling Coming Soon

Okay, get ready for a new farm experience in Bel Air. Cow cuddling is officially coming to Sunny Dreams Farm, with a planned launch in November!

If you have never experienced cow cuddling before, it is both the most relaxing and most joyful thing you can do on a farm. I will be sharing a sneak peek as the date gets closer so keep an eye out on social media, but mark your calendars now because I have a feeling this is going to be a hit.

Guided Farm Tours for Curious Minds

Sunny Dreams Farm offers guided educational farm tours, available upon request. These tours walk you through the farm, introduce you to the animals, and give guests a real look at what it takes to run a working farm business.

This is all kid-friendly and includes interactions with their herd of goats, sheep, and chickens. It is hands-on learning at its best, and would be a wonderful option for homeschool families looking to build farm life and agriculture into their curriculum.
