A Farm for Every Season
One of the things that makes FarmFinity at Stone View Farm so special is that there is always a reason to visit, no matter the time of year. The experience shifts with the seasons in the best possible way, and every visit feels completely different from the last.
Summer brings the fields to life with pick-your-own blueberries and wildflowers. The sensory garden is in full bloom, farm animals welcome every guest, and the farm market is filled with local vendors.
As fall arrives arrives, Stone View transitions seamlessly with their annual corn maze, pumpkin patch, and family friendly activities. The animals are ready to greet you and their team provides all the fall fun in a relaxed setting.
Our personal favorite is their holiday experience on the farm. Starting in mid-November, Stone View offers cut-your-own Christmas trees, wreaths, greens, and holiday festivities that bring the whole community together. There is a train garden in the barn, holiday activities for the kids, food trucks, and a warmth to Stone View that makes the holidays feel magical. Oh, and don’t forget to say hello to “Teddy Clause”.
Customize your visit
Always focused on meeting the needs of the community, FarmFinity at Stone View Farm has created a flexible experience that allows the visitor to customize their time on the farm.
Whether you want to come for just the PYO blueberries, spend time in the sensory garden, visit the animals, or browse the farm market, you can build your day exactly the way you want it.
Visiting the farm is free and activities are priced individually, which makes it easy to tailor the experience to your family's interests and your budget.
Meet Their Herd of Animals
If you’ve followed along with us for any amount of time, you know our favorite part about every visit is getting to interact with their animals. Stone View was the first in Harford County to offer cow cuddling sessions with their mini highland cows and it’s an experience I can’t recommend enough!
If you’d prefer an interaction with a smaller animal, their Goat Gatherings are equally as fun and allow you to step inside to interact with their playful group. If you have a little one who loves animals, this is a must-try.
The farm is home to cows, goats, pigs, chickens, and peacocks. Visitors are always welcome to say hello to the animals and I can tell you from personal experience, they love the attention.
A Place Where Everyone Belongs
One of the things this farm truly stand out is what happens beyond the fields. FarmFinity is a mission-driven nonprofit care farming program that transforms the daily work of the farm into structured therapeutic, vocational, and social programming for individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, and mental health challenges.
This is community in its truest form. This farm is not just a destination, they’ve dedicated themselves to creating meaningful, important work for some of the most deserving members of our community. The sensory garden is a beautiful reflection of that same commitment, designed intentionally to welcome visitors of all abilities and create a space where every family feels at home. Supporting FarmFinity at Stone View Farm means supporting that mission, and that is something we are incredibly proud to share.
As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, FarmFinity programs are run thanks to the help of donations. To learn more about how to support their programming, click the button below.
